About...

I am a Mcintosh County native. As a teenager, my first jobs were mowing lawns and working at the local hardware store. As a young adult, I took an oath that would ultimately shape the rest of my career. I started my 28-year career in the US Army, then transitioned to a short stint with the Army Reserves before finally joining the Oklahoma Army National Guard. I held multiple occupational specialties, including Construction Engineering Supervisor and Automated Logistics Supervisor. The knowledge and experience I have gained form these positions have been invaluable. In addition to serving in the military, I have co-owned Murry Carpets, Inc for 27 years. of which the first 9 years I managed. With the experience and knowledge gained from owning and operating our family business over the past 27 years, I will be able to serve the citizens of District 2 by combing my business and construction experience to be a well rounded and competent leader.

Qualifications...

• Supervise work activities and ensure compliance with directives, construction drawings, and construction specifications.
• Plan and organize work activities within budgetary constraints.
• Review stock items and equipment and recommend deletions, changes or additions to equipment and maintenance inventory.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations pertaining to financial inventory, accounting, and stock funding.
• Plan, coordinate and track construction projects with state and local entities to deploy construction assets across the state to complete both vertical and horizontal projects.
• Implement and supervise a preventative maintenance program to extend the service life of machinery and equipment and to minimize downtime and costs.
